New set of workshops May-June, 2013!

Our new set of workshops will take place in Sandringham, May 12th – June 2nd. Places are nearly all booked already so be quick!


Are you a writer, beginner or established, who has immigrated to New Zealand from another country?

We’re looking for ‘New Kiwi’ women to participate in an exciting new workshop series. Learn and develop your creative writing skills with professional guidance.

Workshops will be led by established and award winning writers, including: Renee Liang, Sarah Laing, Paula Morris, Siobhan Harvey, Miriam Barr and Riemke Ensing.

Participants of all nationalities and writing abilities are welcome. A basic understanding of written and spoken English is recommended. Workshops run for four sessions. Preference will be given to those who can attend all four workshops.

Where: Sandringham Community Centre, 18-20 Kitchener Road, Sandringham.

Dates for Workshops:
Sundays from 10:30am – 2:30pm. 12th, 19th, 26th May and 2nd June.
Please bring your own lunch. Tea and coffee will be provided.

Book Launch and Community Reading: 10am – 1pm, Sunday 23rd June.
